Nightfire, The Duskblade of the Abyss

Forged in shadow and honed in the fires of fallen stars, Nightfire drinks in the light around it. Its blade is a slab of pure midnight, a segment of night sky rendered solid, edged with a pulsing luminescence that seems to draw its power from the core of a distant, dying star. Only a hand worthy of its promise, ready to unleash the fulcrum of fates upon which worlds might tilt, shall be worthy enough to wield it.
